GAVRISH Magazine Visits the WESSLING Laboratory

WESSLING in Russia is now on its way up and developing. It is essential for the company not only to communicate and keep in touch with existing and regular customers, but also to acquire new ones. Participating in tenders and trade fairs, getting to know big companies, and presenting WESSLING as a strong international brand are priorities for the marketing department.
In April 2021, the editor-in-chief of GAVRISH, Ekaterina Ananyeva, visited the WESSLING laboratory and talked to the head of the testing laboratory, Elena Oleinik.
GAVRISH was founded in 1993. Today it is a diversified company with a solid logistical and experimental base, including five breeding centres. GAVRISH produces professional-quality seeds for industrial vegetable production in protected and open ground, and also breeds varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops for industrial production and farms.
Ekaterina and Elena talked about the structure of the laboratory, its internal working processes, and its capabilities. They discussed the broader trend toward sustainability and how crucial it is for vegetable companies to be able to genuinely call their products organic. Doing so takes more than putting the term on a label — it means actually testing the soil the produce was grown in, testing the water and fertilizer, and tracing the entire growth cycle, then checking the crop for pesticides and vitamins and evaluating its physical and organoleptic parameters.
All of these analyses are covered by WESSLING's accreditation, which gives the customer convenience, reliability, and quality.
The magazine was published in autumn 2021, and WESSLING in Russia is already ready to meet new customers among GAVRISH's readers — large agro-industrial complexes and local farms alike.
